'U' Announces Fan Enhancements for Men's Hockey

MINNEAPOLIS -- The 99th season of Gopher Hockey is upon us as the Minnesota men's hockey program opens its home schedule this weekend with a two-game series against Niagara at 3M Arena at Mariucci.
Ahead of the Friday/Saturday series, the University of Minnesota is pleased to announce numerous enhancements for Gopher Men's Hockey fans to enjoy during their visits to campus this season.

- Fans will be able to purchase beer and wine in all seating areas at 3M Arena at Mariucci for all home games.
- Stands on the concourse are located near Sections 7, 14 and 23.
- New concessions items arrive at 3M Arena at Mariucci this season, including a Burrito Bowl and Philly Dog.
- Food of the Series – every series will have a new, specialty food item available for fans to enjoy.
- The Gophers will host three matinee games throughout the season to accommodate families who want to enjoy the games at an earlier time in the day.
- Saturday, November 2 – 4:00 pm vs. Notre Dame
- Saturday, February 8 – 5:00 pm vs. Michigan State
- Saturday, February 29 – 5:00 pm vs. Michigan

- Season ticket packages start at just $500, the lowest Men's Hockey season ticket price point since the 1999-2000 season.

- Through a new partnership with Paciolan, fans can take advantage of numerous account management enhancements including digital tickets to enter 3M Arena at Mariucci.
- Enhanced features to transfer tickets, utilize mobile tickets for entering the stadium, easily post to secondary market and more.
- Digital parking passes are now available and can be transferred through account management functionality.
- Call the Gopher Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-U-GOPHER to learn more about how to purchase a parking pass for the season.
- Through a partnership with Game Point, Gopher students will now be able to accumulate points for attending, and staying, at games.
- The longer a student is at the game the more points they will accumulate and points can be used to redeem offers at various businesses around campus.
- Students who participate will also be eligible to win cash prizes each month ($3,500 given away each month!)
- Students who wish to participate simply need to download the Game Point app and check-in when they attend Gopher events.
