MINNEAPOLIS – The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released its second top-25 poll of the season on Wednesday, with the Minnesota men's and women's teams both cracking the list.

Breaking into the top-25 for the first time this season, the men debut at no. 25, while the women currently sit at no. 22. In the CSCAA preseason poll released Oct. 9, the Gopher men earned recognition in the 'receiving votes' section and the Minnesota women were ranked 18th.

Although both teams dropped their first two duals of the 2019-20 campaign, they did so against a pretty impressive collection of competition in Florida (ranked ninth/first) and Florida State (15th/20th).

With the Minnesota men and women ranked simultaneously for the first time this season, the Maroon and Gold squads will be looking to further improve their status with road wins against Iowa this upcoming weekend. Competition against the Hawkeyes will begin Saturday, Oct. 26 at 11 a.m.
