Gopher Hockey TV Broadcast Schedule Unveiled

MINNEAPOLIS – The Big Ten Conference and the University of Minnesota have announced the television broadcast schedule for the 2019-20 Gopher Hockey campaign with every game scheduled for a television broadcast available in the Twin Cities market.
Currently, 29 of Minnesota's 34 regular-season games are scheduled to air on television in 2019-20 while additional broadcasts may be added at a later date. FOX Sports North leads way when it comes to live coverage of Gopher Hockey this season with 19 games slated to appear on the network while the Big Ten Network will broadcast nine games for the Maroon & Gold this season. Additionally, FOX9+ will pick up MY9's broadcast of the Maroon & Gold's road game at Minnesota Duluth on Oct. 26.

Every televised game on BTN can be streamed nation-wide via the web,smartphones, tablets and connected devices on the FOX Sports app. All games broadcast by FOX Sports Regional Networks can also be streamed live via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices on the FOX Sports GO app for authenticated subscribers to the broadcasting regional network, or on BTN+.
Schedule Notes: Five regular-season games are not currently listed to air on television – Minnesota's road series at Notre Dame (Feb. 14-15) falls under the NBC Sports partnership with Notre Dame and will be announced at a later date, Minnesota's nonconference road game at Colorado College on Oct. 12 will be streamed on NCHC.tv (the season opener on Oct. 11 will be televised on FOX Sports North PLUS via the AT&T Sportsnet broadcast) and Minnesota's road games at Michigan on Nov. 9 and at Ohio State on Dec. 7 are not currently scheduled to air on television…four Gopher games remain listed as TBD for puck drops, those start times will be announced at a later date.
All tickets for the 2019-20 Gopher Hockey season – the 99th campaign in program history – are now on sale through GopherSports.com. Season tickets start at $500 – the lowest price point for season tickets at the University of Minnesota since 1999-2000. Highlighting the 2019-20 slate is one of the strongest home schedules in program history with Minnesota hosting all six Big Ten opponents (Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin) along with nonconference foes in North Dakota, Minnesota Duluth, Minnesota State, Bemidji State, St. Cloud State and Niagara.
