Please note that due to Gopher Football on Saturday (2:30 p.m.) traffic and parking will be impacted. Recommended parking locations are the 4th Street Parking Ramp, accessible off of 5th Street SE. Lot 37 and the Maroon Lot will NOT become available until egress from Football is complete.
ABOUT RUTGERS
Rutgers enters the Gopher match with a 6-8 overall record and 0-3 in Big Ten play. The Scarlet Knights hosted Nebraska Wednesday night and fell in three, 25-16, 25-15, 25-14. Tali Marmen leads the offensive charge with 111 kills, 2.41 kills per set and 15 aces. Jasmine Stackhouse has a team-best 51 blocks, while Karysa Swackenberg leads the team with 162 digs. Inna Balyko has 433 assists on the season.

The Gophers are 7-2 all time against the Scarlet Knights, dating back to 1983. Since Rutgers joined the Big Ten Conference in 2014, Minnesota has gone 6-0.

GOPHERS EARN ROAD WIN
Minnesota earned a 3-1 win over Iowa, Wednesday in Iowa City, Iowa. Minnesota had four players in double digit kills. Regan Pittman hit .640 and had 16 kills, three assists, an ace, five digs and five blocks. Taylor Morgan also had 16 kills and hit .577 with a dig and four blocks. Stephanie Samedy added 14 kills, seven digs and four blocks. Adanna Rollins posted a double-double with 14 kills, 17 digs and a block. Rachel Kilkelly started as the Gopher libero and had eight digs. Bayley McMenimen had a career-best 50 assists and seven digs.
WELCOME BACK ALUMNAE
Fans may see some familiar faces in the crowd tonight as we welcome back our Gopher volleyball alumnae. Our former Gophers will also be introduced during the intermission.

Among Big Ten players, Stephanie Samedy ranks second in kills per set as she averages 4.40 kills per set. Kylie Miller ranks first in the league in assists per set (11.93), while Regan Pittman ranks third in blocks (1.29 per set) and CC McGraw ranks fourth in digs (4.42 per set). As a team, the Gophers hold a league-best 15.51 kills per set, 14.54 assists per set and 18.29 digs per set.

Minnesota is ranked No. 7 in this week's poll, announced Monday by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. In all, six Big Ten Conference teams are ranked in the preseason top 25. Nebraska holds the No. 2 spot, followed by Penn State (5), Minnesota (7), Wisconsin (13), Purdue (17) and Illinois (18). Michigan is receiving votes.
