As Thanksgiving 2019 approaches and the fall colors turn to winter chills, we asked some Maroon and Gold wrestlers what they were most thankful for this year. With answers ranging from serious to hilarious, our Gophers took a moment to reflect during this holiday season. Check out their answers below!
Brent Jones
"I'm thankful for my family, obviously, plus my bed, country music, and food which I couldn't be here without. And I'm really thankful for my good pal Jake Gliva."
Chase O'Connor
"I'm just thankful for all the people around me that my life easier. Plus, it'll be fun to east as much as I want this Thanksgiving."
Dylan Anderson
"I have a lot to be thankful for, especially my family and friends support. I also always appreciate not having to cut weight."
Nathan Fuller
"My family are my biggest supporters and they've helped me throughout my entire life."
Brayton Lee
"I'm so very thankful for, first off, Jesus. I also wouldn't be here without family, friends, and coaches who all helped me each step. Then, obviously, I'm thankful for this great sport."
Matt Ramos
"I'm thankful for my family, my friends, my whole team, and especially my new knee after a successful surgery."
