Gophers Prep For Bison Open in Fargo

Gopher wrestling is set for their first open tournament of the season when the the majority of the roster travels to Fargo, North Dakota, for the annual Bison Open.
While the Gophers are sending nearly the entire roster, all wrestlers will be competing unattached. Check below for a full list of Gophers competing.
Among the other schools set to attend are South Dakota State, Minnesota-Moorhead, and, the hosts, North Dakota State.
Last season the Gophers wrapped up the event with eight top-three placers and five finalists.
The Gophers are coming off of a dominant 28-9 victory over Cal State Bakersfield at home to start hte season on November 1. Minnesota returns to the dual schedule when they welcome the Rider Broncs to Williams Arena on Nov. 15 for the program's first dual at the venue since Feb. 19, 2016.
