LINCOLN, Neb. - Senior Jordan Murphy scored his 17th double-double of the season but the Minnesota men's basketball team fell in the final seconds at Nebraska, 62-61, on Wednesday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Murphy was one of three double-digit scorers for the Gophers (16-9, 6-8), joined by 16 points from freshman Daniel Oturu and 11 from junior guard Amir Coffey. James Palmer Jr. led the Huskers (14-11, 4-10) with 24 points.
Minnesota returns to action on Saturday, hosting Indiana. Tip time from Williams Arena is set for 1 p.m.
