Gophers Rack Up Records, Milestones and Honors in 2018-19

The Minnesota women's basketball team racked up numerous honors and milestones this past season and had several players etch their names into the school record books. Below is a list of some of those accomplishments from this year.

- Played in the WNIT for the fifth time in program history; it was the 22nd postseason appearance all-time for Minnesota and seventh in the last eight years
- Tied a school record with 15 home wins
- Third most free throws made (515) and attempted (725) in a season in team history
- Tied for the sixth fewest turnovers (492) in a season in team history
- Allowed 60.5 points per game, the seventh lowest total in program history
- Eighth most 3-pointers attempted (483) and total rebounds (1,295) in a season in team history
- The team's 21 wins, .656 win percentage, 1,855 field goal attempts and 159 made 3-pointers were 10th most in program history
- Set a program record by making all 17 free throw attempts against Indiana (3/7)
- The 31 made free throws against Michigan State (3/3) and Rhode Island (12/22) tied for the ninth most in program history; the .969 (31-32) free throw percentage against Michigan State was fourth best in team history
- Opened the 2018-19 season with a program record and sellout crowd of 14,625 against New Hampshire on Nov. 9
- Began the season by winning its first 12 games, tied for the second best undefeated start in program history. The 12-game win streak tied for the third longest in program history and was the longest since the team's program-record 15-game streak that opened the 2003-04 season
- Had a six-game Big Ten win streak that was tied for the second longest in team history and a 10-game home win streak that was tied for the sixth longest
- Minnesota's 12-1 record was the fourth best one-loss start in team history, while the 12-2 record tied for the fifth best two-loss start.
- With a 21-11 record, ranked fifth in program history for wins and winning percentage (.656) by a coach in their first year at Minnesota
- With a 12-0 start, tied for the best undefeated start by a coach in their first year at a Big Ten school since the incorporation of women's athletics in the conference in 1982-83

- 19 games this year with at least 10 rebounds, 11 games with at least 15 boards, seven games with at least 18 rebounds and one game with at least 20
- Joined Janel McCarville and Amanda Zahui B. as the only players in team history to have multiple games in a career where they've attempted at least seven shots and not missed (7-7 vs. Penn State on Feb. 17 and 9-9 at Michigan on Dec. 31).
- Posted double-doubles in the first three games of the season, becoming the first Minnesota player to have three straight double-doubles since Amanda Zahui B. ended the 2014-15 season with four in a row.
