Following an impressive showing at the Doc Hosea Invitational last weekend, the Gopher Rowing team slotted in at No. 20 in the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA)/US Rowing Women's Division I Coaches Poll for Week Three announced on Wednesday.
No. 20 Minnesota lands among seven conference rivals in the rankings with a eighth among the teams receiving votes outside the top 20. The Big Ten leads the Pac-12 (five) for the most teams in the poll this week. No. 1 Washington received just two first-place votes but edged out No. 2 California (17) for the top spot in the poll, 476 points to 473. Stanford, Texas, and Princeton round out the top five.
The Gophers will return to action on Saturday, April 13 at the Big Ten Double Dual in Iowa City hosted by No. 13 Iowa.
