Minnesota and Minnesota State will play a home-and-home series Thursday, Dec. 10 and Friday, Dec. 11.

MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Minnesota women's hockey team has added a home-and-home series with Minnesota State next week. The Gophers and Mavericks will meet in a two-game series on Thursday, Dec. 10 in Mankato, Minn., and Friday, Dec. 11 at Ridder Arena. Both games are scheduled for 6:07 p.m. CT.

Thursday's game will be streamed online via FloHockey, and Friday's game will be streamed online via Big Ten Network Plus. Fans can also listen to a free audio broadcast of Friday's game at GopherSports.com, and live stats will be available for both games.

Minnesota's schedule originally included WCHA series against Wisconsin (Dec. 4-5) and at Ohio State (Dec. 11-12), but both of those series have been postponed. No make-up dates have been determined at this time.

League play for the second half of the 2020-21 WCHA season will resume as early as Jan. 1. The post-holiday league schedule, along with the format for the 2021 WCHA Final Faceoff, will be announced at a later date.
