Minnesota presented its annual team awards this fall despite this year's modified cross country season.

MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Minnesota women's cross country squad presented its annual team awards this fall despite this year's modified cross country season. The Gophers held a series of time trials after the Big Ten Conference postponed fall sports for the 2020 season.

MVP: Bethany Hasz
Awarded to Gopher who is the team's best overall performer from the season.
  • Unofficial school record 6K: 19:33
  • Won every time trial
  • Ran 15:49 5K on the track
  • Ran 4:44 road mile
Co-Rookie of the Year: Brianne Brewster
Awarded to the Gopher newcomer who has the best season.
  • Ran 18:22 5K on grass
  • Ran 17:54 5K on the track
  • Ran 17:39 5K on the roads
Co-Rookie of the Year: Erin Reidy
Awarded to the Gopher newcomer who has the best season.
  • Ran 1:35 to win 600m time trial
  • Ran 10:11 to win 3000m time trial
  • Ran 4:58 road mile
  • Ran 18:02 5K on the roads
Co-Most Improved: Sam Baer
Awarded to the Gopher who makes the biggest improvements from last season to this season.
