‘U’ Announces Reduction in Scholarship Seating For 2020-21 Men’s Hockey Season Tickets

MINNEAPOLIS – Ahead of the 100th season of Gopher Hockey, the University of Minnesota has unveiled men's hockey season ticket information for the 2020-21 season with all scholarship seating zones featuring a price decrease.
In an effort to better align seating areas throughout 3M Arena at Mariucci, more than 75 percent of all season tickets sold for the 2019-20 season will see a price decrease for the upcoming season while no season tickets will increase in price.
Consistent with 2019-20, Zone 4 season tickets will be $500 and do not require a scholarship seating donation. Seats in the Club Level and Zones 1 and 2 will see a scholarship seating decrease of $200 for the 2020-21 season. Seats in Zone 3 will see a scholarship seating decrease of $100. Zone 4 has featured a $200 net ticket price decrease over the last two seasons.
"One of our top priorities here at the University of Minnesota is to provide the best possible experiences for both our student-athletes and our fans. We feel this season ticket pricing adjustment will serve both of those groups and help us provide an exciting atmosphere at 3M Arena at Mariucci," Mark Coyle, Minnesota's Director of Athletics, said. "Over the last three years, we've stressed how important winning our fans back is to the athletic department. We've listened to feedback from season ticket holders and those conversations have influenced many of the new fan experience initiatives and opportunities that we provide to season ticket holders."
Season ticket holders have exclusive access to the Gopher Loyalty Program, providing access to over 100 exclusive experiences & benefits, along with discounted regular-season and Big Ten tournament tickets.
Season ticket renewals and new season tickets are available now through the Gopher Ticket Sales & Service Office with the renewal deadline set for June 4, 2020. New this year, fans can sign up for a six-month or four-month payment plan for the 2020-21 season. Tickets can be purchased at GopherSports.com or by calling 1-800-U-GOPHER.
