MINNEAPOLIS – As Gopher Hockey prepares for a historic season in 2020-21, GopherSports.com takes one last look back at the 2019-20 campaign with our Top Moments of the Season.

Scott Reedy scored on the first shot of the game, and that was all Jared Moe would need to work with as the freshman goaltender picked up his first career shutout in a 2-0 Minnesota win at No. 20 Michigan State on Jan. 11, 2020.

A native of New Prague, Minn., Moe made 28 saves for the Gophers in the road win and ended the weekend with a .977 save percentage and a goals against average of 0.60 for the series after making 52 saves on 53 shots.

Moe was a unanimous pick for the Big Ten All-Freshman Team – leading the league rookies in wins (7-5-1), save percentage (.915), goals against average (2.46), saves (366) and shutouts (one).  His .915 save percentage ranks 10th all-time at Minnesota for single-season save percentages.
