MINNEAPOLIS – As Gopher Hockey prepares for a historic season in 2020-21, GopherSports.com takes one last look back at the 2019-20 campaign with our Top Moments of the Season.

Bryce Brodzinski might have had to wait 14 games to score his first goal with the Gophers, finding the net against Wisconsin in a 3-3 overtime tie at 3M Arena at Mariucci on Nov. 23, 2019.

But the 2019 Mr. Hockey Award winner had a slightly more expansive role in the second series of last year's Border Battle.

A native of Blaine, Minn., Brodzinski scored three goals in a series sweep over the Badgers in Madison, notching his first career multi-point game with two goals in a 6-2 win on Jan. 31, 2020 before picking up another tally in a 4-2 victory on Feb. 1. Minnesota, which finished the season 3-0-1 against Wisconsin, is 9-2-1 in the last 12 games at the Kohl Center while the Maroon & Gold have won seven of the last eight games at the venue and are unbeaten in eight of the last nine contests (7-1-1).

The Philadelphia Flyers prospect skated in all 37 games of his first collegiate season with 12 points (seven goals, five assists) with four of his seven goals coming in the Border Battle.
