Minnesota has earned its 22nd Frozen Four berth and first since 2014.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Big Ten Coach of the Year and Spencer Penrose Award finalist Bob Motzko joined NHL Network earlier this week to preview the Frozen Four.

The Gophers are making their 22nd appearance at the Frozen Four (first since 2014) and open the weekend against Minnesota State on Thursday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. CT at TD Garden in Boston.
