Gophers Announce Cambria College Classic Schedule

Hawaii, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt will be the opponents
MINNEAPOLIS – One of the nation's premier college baseball tournaments is returning for its third year to U.S. Bank Stadium. The Cambria College Classic will take place this March 3 through the 5 in Minneapolis and highlight six traditionally strong NCAA programs, including the 2022 NCAA National Champion.
From March 3-5, a collection of Big West, Big Ten and Southeastern Conference (SEC) programs will join Minnesota for the three-day, nine-game round-robin tournament.
Hawaii is set to represent the Big West while Maryland and Nebraska join Minnesota out of the Big Ten. Defending national champion Ole Miss and perennial power Vanderbilt represent the SEC.
"The field of teams featured this year in the Cambria College classic are the best yet," said head coach John Anderson. "I am honored to be hosting this event giving baseball fans around the region the opportunity to catch some of the top Big West, Big Ten and SEC programs."
Each Big Ten team will play each Big West/SEC program once over the course of the event, resulting in a three-game schedule for every team in attendance. The winner of the tournament will be the team with the best overall record at the end of the three days, with head-to-head competition serving as the tiebreaker.
At the conclusion of the Classic's final game between Vanderbilt and Minnesota on March 5, a brief award ceremony will be held at home plate. Presented at the ceremony will be the championship trophy designed and handcrafted by Cambria, the all-tournament team and the tournament MVP.
In addition to the exciting baseball action, there will be a CambriaCares Kids Zone that will feature fun for the whole family with games, giveaways and special appearances by Cambria's mascot, Cambi. This area will run throughout the duration of the tournament and can be found on the main concourse directly behind fan seating. There will be a giant bean bag toss, giant plinko game and a pitchback net. Giveaways include thundersticks, black stress baseballs, white baseballs and plush Cambi's.

Tickets are now available for purchase through Ticketmaster. Daily tickets for all-day access to the full slate of Cambria College Classic games are $15 (plus fees and taxes) per day when purchased online. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the U.S. Bank Stadium Box Office on gameday for $15 (no additional fees or taxes). The U.S. Bank Stadium Ticket Office will be open on game days for walk up sales starting one hour before the start of the first game each day.
