Gophers Set For Final Fall Tournament Sunday

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota men's golf team competes in its final tournament of the fall season at the Quail Valley Invitational in Vero Beach, Fla., starting Sunday.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament will take place at Quail Valley Golf Club.

The Lineup:
The Maroon and Gold will be represented by graduate seniors Jacob Pedersen and Brock Winter, senior Ben Warian, and juniors Gavin Hagstrom and Bennett Swavely.
The Field:
The Gophers will be facing off against Big Ten foes in host-school Michigan State, Maryland, Rutgers, Indiana and Penn State. The rest of the field is comprised of Cincinnati, FAU, Liberty, Memphis, North Florida, Northern Illinois, Kent State, UNC-Greensboro, South Florida and Toledo.
Last Time Out:
Graduate senior Jacob Pedersen finished the Alister Mackenzie Invitational in ninth place and the Golden Gophers tied the second lowest 54-hole team score in program history.
