Start Times Also Confirmed for Gopher Home Duals

MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Minnesota wrestling team is scheduled to appear on the Big Ten Network four times this upcoming season, the conference and network announced Tuesday. In addition, the Gophers confirmed start times for all home meets this year.

Minnesota's home slate starts on Nov. 26 with a 12 p.m. dual versus South Dakota State, while North Dakota State visits on Dec. 10 at 2 p.m.

The Gophers' first appearance on the Big Ten Network comes on Jan. 15 when they visit Iowa at 7 p.m.

The other three broadcasts on BTN will all come from Maturi Pavilion, starting with a home dual against Nebraska on Jan. 19 at 9 p.m. It's the final dual meet in a BTN tripleheader that night.

Minnesota opens the month of February by hosting Maryland on Feb. 2 at 7 p.m.

The second home TV broadcast takes place Feb. 4 versus Northwestern at 1 p.m., while the final scheduled appearance comes in the regular season finale against Wisconsin. Match time is set for 8 p.m. on Feb. 16 with the Badgers.

In addition to those four duals, BTN will also showcase Minnesota and the rest of the conference at the 2024 Big Ten Championships in College Park, Md., March 9-10.

All home matches not televised by Big Ten Network are scheduled to stream on B1G+, which does require a subscription.

Minnesota returns five starters, including 2023 All-American Michael Blockhus, for the 2023-24 season. Other returning national qualifiers include sixth-year seniors Jake Gliva, Garrett Joles and Patrick McKee, as well as seniors Isaiah Salazar and Andrew Sparks.
