Illinois Series History
Since 1997, the Golden Gophers have competed against the Fighting Illini at least once every season except for 2016. Minnesota's all-time record against Illinois is 10-13-5 overall and 7-5-2 at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium.
Last Time Out
Last season, the Golden Gophers traveled to Champaign-Urbana, Ill., in their last Big Ten Conference game of the season to compete against the Illini. Illinois scored two late goals to tie the Gophers, 2-2. With the draw, Minnesota saw its first berth in the Big Ten Tournament since 2018.

This season, the Gophers have competed against three top 25 opponents (No. 22 Georgia, No. 16 Michigan, No. 16 Indiana) at the time of play. Plaschko currently sits at No. 5 in goalkeeper minutes (5,310:09) and No. 2 in goals-against average (0.85 through 60 games).

Sunday's game will be broadcast live on Big Ten Network and can be streamed on Fox Sports. This is the first time Minnesota has been on television this season.
