Nubin, Kesich Named All-Big Ten First Team

Justin Walley, Danny Striggow, Jah Joyner, Kyler Baugh and Mark Crawford earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention accolades
University of Minnesota defensive back Tyler Nubin and kicker Dragan Kesich were named All-Big Ten First Team today. Kesich was also named the Bakken-Andersen Kicker of the Year by the conference.
Nubin made 53 tackles this year and had five interceptions and four pass breakups. He ended his Gopher career with 13 career interceptions, which is the most in program history.
Kesich led Minnesota in scoring with 90 points during the 2023 season. He made 22 field goals and was a perfect 24-of-24 on point-after attempts. He ranked eighth in the nation in field goals made (22), sixth in field goals attempted (26) and tied for 24th in field goal percentage (84.6%).
On defense, Justin Walley, Danny Striggow, Jah Joyner and Kyler Baugh were named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention, while punter Mark Crawford collected the same honor on special teams.
The conference will announce offensive selections on Wednesday.
