MINNEAPOLIS - University of Minnesota men's golf head coach Justin Smith announced that John Andrew (Jack) Crousore (Bluffton, S.C.) has signed his National Letter of Intent to join the Gophers in 2024.

"Jack is a tremendous player and person, and he will elevate our program immediately," Smith said. "From the start of the recruiting process, we were so impressed with his impact on the course and in his community. We look for these qualities in any prospect we bring to our program, and Jack will prove to be a great leader of Gopher Golf for many years to come.

"Jack has won some very prestigious events in his junior career, but it's all the intangibles he possesses that makes us so excited for his arrival to Minnesota."

Crousore was a four-year member of the Hilton Head Preparatory varsity golf team in Hilton Head, S.C., as well as a National AP Scholar, and member of the National Honors Society. He nabbed three top-10 finishes in three separate AJGA events, including a top-five finish at the 2022 Junior at Beaver Creek. He also was awarded the 2021 Hilton Head Island Junior Golf Association Sportsmanship and All-Star award.

The Bluffton native is the son of Drew Crousore, who played baseball and wrestled at Wabash College, and MJ Crousore, who was a cheerleader at DePaul University. His older sister, Annie Crousore, was a member of the Indiana University Redsteppers dance team.

"Everything about Minnesota is incredible," Crousore said. "The coaches, the team atmosphere and the campus are all incredible."
