Minnesota is one of three schools with more than one skater honored.

MINNEAPOLIS – Fifth-year forwards Taylor Heise and Grace Zumwinkle have been named 2022-23 CCM All-Americans by the American Hockey Coaches Association. Heise is the first Gopher to receive back-to-back first team honors since Hannah Brandt in 2014-16.

Taylor Heise – First Team All-American
After receiving first team honors last season, Taylor Heise ranks first in the nation in goals (29) and second in points (65). Heise was named to the All-WCHA First Team for the second-consecutive season to cap off her second-straight 60-point campaign. Heise also ranked second in the nation in shorthanded goals (4), sixth in power-play goals (7) and 10th in game-winning goals (5). The Lake City, Minn., native was named WCHA Forward of the Year for the second-consecutive season, HCA National Player of the Month in December and February and WCHA Forward of the Week four times. Heise's 225 career points rank sixth in program history.

Grace Zumwinkle – Second Team All-American
After being named to the second team in 2020-21, Grace Zumwinkle receives all-American honors once again after redshirting last season to represent the United States in the 2022 Winter Olympics. Zumwinkle ranks third in the nation in points (61) and sixth in the nation in goals (25). Her nine game-winning goals are tied for the most in the NCAA and second-most in a single season in program history. The Excelsior, Minn., native's accolades this season include her fourth-career All-WCHA First Team selection, HCA National Player of the Month in January, WCHA Forward of the Year finalist honors, WCHA Forward of the Month in January and two WCHA forward of the week awards. Zumwinkle's 109 goals rank third in program history. The co-captain is one of five players in program history to record 100 career goals and assists.
