Maroon & Gold Set for Final Regular Season Tournament

59th-ranked Gophers will face off against six top-50 teams
MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The University of Minnesota women's golf team is set to tee off for the last regular season tournament at the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational in Columbus, Ohio. The Ohio State University will be hosting the 14-team field Apr. 14 - 15 at the OSU Scarlet Course. This is the first time since the 2018-19 season the Gophers will be competing in this tournament.
Round one on Apr. 14 will begin with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. and will be followed immediately by round two. CT. Tee times for round three are also set for 7:30 a.m. CT barring poor weather conditions.

"This is another great opportunity to compete this week in a really good field," said head coach Rhyll Brinsmead. "The Scarlet Course is a true test of golf and we are excited to be back in bent greens. This is the ideal setup as we head into postseason competition."
Lineup:
The Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational format is six players play and four scores count. Competing for the Gophers are freshmen Isabella McCauley and Luisamariana Mesones, seniors Grace Curran, Emma Carpenter and Leah Herzog, as well as freshman Ruby Chi.
The Field:
No. 59 Minnesota will be competing against No. 25 Ohio State, No. 33 Maryland, No. 34 Michigan State, No. 40 Kent State, No. 44 Michigan, No. 46 Purdue, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers, and Wisconsin.
The Course:
The 54 holes will be played at the OSU Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio. The par-72 course plays 6,319 yards.
Looking Ahead:
After competing in Columbus, the Gophers will head to post-season play at the BIG 10 Championship in Pittsburgh, PA, Apr. 21 - 23.
