Luisamariana Mesones leads the Gophers Individually
CHATTANOOGA, TN - The University of Minnesota women's golf team finished the first round of the Chattanooga Classic today. A well rounded team-effort has the Gophers in contention and tied for third.

Quotable:
"We had a really solid day on the course. You always feel like you left a few out there, but considering the difficult pin positions and the speed of the greens we had today, I'm really proud of the way the team approached with patience and stuck to the game plan," said head coach Rhyll Brinsmead. "We're in a really good position heading into round two and I'm excited to get back out there tomorrow."
