MINNEAPOLIS - Minnesota junior Ben Warian finished under par for the second straight day at the NCAA Regional in Bath, Mich.

After an opening-round 67, Warian came back Tuesday and posted a one-under 70, moving down just one spot on the leaderboard. He is now in a tie for sixth, with a combined 36-hole score of five under-par (137) for the tournament. He's four shots back of the lead, but is in a three-way tie for the top spot among those not on teams in position to advance along with Florida's Fred Biondi and Kansas State's Luke O'Neill.

Warian began his day even after five holes, with a birdie and bogey, but finished the front nine at one-under par, birdying the par-four ninth for the second straight day.

After two bogeys on holes 13 and 15, Warian capped off his round with an eagle at the par-five 18th to put his round below par.

The low five teams and the low individual not on those five qualifying teams will advance to the NCAA Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., May 26 to 31.

Ben Van Wyk and the Georgia Bulldogs sit atop the leaderboard for the second straight day. Van Wyk leads all individuals with a 36-hole score of nine-under par (133). Georgia maintains their 10-stroke lead, with a score of 28-under par. Illinois is the next closest at 18-under par, while Oregon is just three strokes back of Illinois.

Warian will tee off in the final round of the Bath Regional at 10:04 a.m. CT Wednesday.
