Warian Garners All-Big Ten Honors

MINNEAPOLIS - University of Minnesota golfer Ben Warian was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team and received the team's Big Ten Sportsmanship Award, the conference announced Tuesday.
It is the first Big Ten selection for Minnesota since Angus Flanagan was named to the Big Ten First team in 2021. This is Warian's third consecutive year receiving the Sportsmanship Award.
A junior, Warian finished with four top-10 finishes this season, including top-three finishes at the MacDonald Cup (T-3rd) and the Colleton River Collegiate (T-2nd). He ended the year with a tie for fifth at the Big Ten Championships.
Warian carried a team-low 71.69 scoring average and finished the season ranked within the top 150 players in the nation.
