HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo.- University of Minnesota junior Isabella McCauley (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) was crowned individual tournament champion at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate Sunday. The junior sensation posted a tournament score of 202 (-14), breaking the Gophers' all-time 54-hole record.

McCauley secured the third tournament title of her career after posting three-straight under par rounds. The junior fired a four-under-par 68 in round three after notching five birdies on the back nine. Her tournament score of 66-68-68-202 (-14) breaks the school 54-hole scoring record previously set by current sophomore, Mariana Mesones, by one stroke.

"I feel so blessed to have won this week," said McCauley. "It was a great trip with the team and a wonderful way to end the fall season. I'm already excited about the spring season and the trajectory this team is headed!"

The Gophers closed out the tournament today shooting a 288 (E) to finish at 864 (E) and fourth overall. UNLV took home the team win after shooting a round three 281 (-7) to finish at 847 (-17).

"So excited for Bella and the work she has done this fall," said head coach Matt Higgins. "Great way to end a historic fall season for her and a great way to cap off a very successful fall for us. I know these girls are motivated more than ever and will be putting in the work this winter. We can't wait to get out to Puerto Rico in four months!"
