Gopher Baseball Announces 2025 Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS – The Minnesota Golden Gopher baseball program has officially announced its schedule for the 2025 season.
The Gophers will play 22 non-conference games and a full 30 game Big Ten schedule for a total of 52 games.
"We're thrilled to announce our 2025 schedule, which features a competitive early-season non-conference slate and, for the first time, 10 Big Ten conference weekends,'" said head coach Ty McDevitt. "These games will challenge our team, provide valuable early feedback, and prepare us for a historic Big Ten season. We are excited to host Gopher fans at U.S. Bank Stadium and at Siebert Field. We can't wait to compete in front of our fans and continue building the proud tradition of Gopher Baseball."
The 2025 schedule will feature 17 games at Siebert Field, 10 at U.S. Bank Stadium, 22 away, and three neutral site games. Of the 17 home games at Siebert Field, 12 are part of Big Ten weekend series (Iowa, Penn State, USC, Maryland).
Minnesota will kick off the season at the University of Houston (Feb.14-16) for the first weekend series of the year. The following weekend the Gophers will be back in Texas competing in the Round Rock Classic at Dell Diamond Rock (Round Rock, Texas). The Gophers will be competing against Oklahoma, Virginia, and Oregon State in the round-robin style tournament.
The 'U' will finish the month of February and open up March in Tempe, Arizona for a weekend series against Arizona State (Feb. 28-March 2)
After some time down south, the Gophers will stay in Minnesota for seven games at U.S. Bank Stadium, the first being against UW-Milwaukee (March 4).
The Maroon and Gold will play their first Big Ten Series at U.S. Bank Stadium March 7-9 against the Purdue Boilermakers. They will then take on Kansas in a two-game mid-week match up (March 11-12) also at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Gophers will make the trip west to take on Oregon for a weekend series March 14-16, before finishing up four games at U.S. Bank Stadium versus St. Thomas (1 game) and High Point (3 games).
An eight-game home stretch at Siebert Field begins March 28 versus Iowa (March 28-30). From there the Gophers will take on Penn State (April 4-6), SDSU (April 8th), and St. Thomas (April 9th).
After the mid-week showdowns, the Gophers will be on the road for a three game-series at Ohio State (April 11-13), before returning to Siebert for more midweek action versus NDSU (April 15) and SDSU (April 16).
The Gophers will make a trip out east to New Brunswick, New Jersey to face Rutgers in a three-game weekend series (April 18-20), before welcoming USC to Siebert Field April 25-27.
The final midweek games of the year will take place April 29th and 30th. The Gophers will first take on NDSU at home before heading across the river to St. Thomas.
The 'U' will head to Nebraska (May 2-4), before returning to Dinkytown for the final home series of the year versus Maryland (May 9-11).
The Gophers will complete their regular season schedule on the road, taking on the Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing.
The Big Ten Tournament is scheduled for May 20-25 in Omaha, Neb.
The 2025 campaign will mark McDevitt's first season at the helm of the program.
