20 Gophers Receive WCHA All-Academic Team Honors

Minnesota tops last year’s total of 18 and leads the WCHA
MINNEAPOLIS - Twenty Golden Gopher women's hockey players are part of the 124 student-athletes selected to the 2023-24 WCHA All-Academic Team; the conference announced Tuesday.
Josefin Bouveng, Emma Conner, Josey Dunne, Allie Franco, Peyton Hemp, Ella Huber, Sophia Johnson, Madison Kaiser, Nelli Laitinen, Sadie Lindsay, Lucy Morgan, Abbey Murphy, Solveig Neunzert, Maggie Nicholson, Taylor Stewart, Tristana Tatur, Skylar Vetter, Madeline Wethington, Audrey Wethington and Emily Zumwinkle make up the list of Golden Gopher honorees.
The WCHA All-Academic Team includes student-athletes from all eight institutions who have completed one year of eligibility at their present school, prior to the academic year, and have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the previous two semesters or three quarters.
Minnesota leads all WCHA schools with 20 honorees. The WCHA All-Academic Team is formed with the assistance of the Faculty Athletic Representatives from each of the member institutions.
