Brewster Earns B1G Sportsmanship Awards

MINNEAPOLIS -- University of Minnesota senior Brianne Brewster was named as Minnesota's recipient of the Big Ten's Sportsmanship Award for in the indoor season. 

Brewster, a native of Burnsville, Minn., ran in five meets for the Maroon and Gold this indoor season, including in the 3000m and 5000m at the 2024 Big Ten Indoor Championships in February. Brewster posted back-to-back lifetime indoor bests at the Meyo Invitational and the Windy City Invite. At the Meyo Invite she was second in the 5000m with a time of 16:34.14, and then clocked a 9:41.48 in the 5000m at the Windy City Invite. Brewster concluded the indoor season with a 14th-place showing in the 5000m at Big Tens.
