Gophers Set for Seahawk Intercollegiate Sunday

MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota men's golf team is set to compete in the Seahawk Intercollegiate Sunday in Wilmington, N.C.
The two-day, 54-hole stroke play event takes place Sunday and Monday on the Pete Dye designed course at the Country Club of Landfall.

The Lineup:
The Maroon and Gold will be represented by graduate seniors Jacob Pedersen and Brock Winter, senior Ben Warian, junior Bennett Swavely, and sophomore Cormac Sharpe. Also competing for the Gophers, and making his spring debut, is sophomore Mason Roloff.
The Field:
The Gophers will be competing against top-25 teams including No. 2 Auburn, No. 17 Florida and No. 25 Duke, as well as Big Ten foes Maryland and Penn State, along with host-UNC Wilmington, Arkansas State, Campbell, Davidson, Florida Atlantic, Jacksonville, James Madison, and Louisiana Monroe, VCU, Stetson and Wright State.
The Course:
Designed by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus and world renowned course architect Pete Dye, the Seahawk Intercollegiate will be played on the Dye Course of the Country Club of Landfall. The Dye Course plays at a par 72, measuring just above 7,000 yards in length.
