ARDMORE, Okla. -- The University of Minnesota women's golf team wrapped up play at The Bruzzy today. The team shot a 299 (+19) in round three. The Gophers finished the 13-team event in eighth place with a three-round score of 300-281-299--880 (+40).
The Gophers were led by graduate Grace Curran individually. Curran posted a 74 (+4) in round three to finish the tournament tied for 19th place.
Arkansas was crowned tournament champions after posting a three-round score of 856 (+16).
Notable:
Curran led the Gophers in round three shooting a four-over-par (74). She tallied eight birdies and 32 pars across three rounds with a tournament score of 75-69-74-218 (+8). She ended the event tied for 19th place.
Sophomore Isabella McCauley completed the tournament with a score of 73-71-75-219 (+9). She tied for 21st place after notching nine birdies and 28 pars across 54-holes.
Graduate Megan Furtney posted a third round score of 75 (+5). She tied for second most pars at the event, notching 38 total pars. Furtney completes the event tied for 27th with a score of 77-70-75-222 (+12).
Graduate Emma Carpenter ended the event with a three-round score of 77-71-75-223 (+13). She finished tied for 35th place and added seven birdies and 31 pars at the event.
Senior Hailey Loh posted a three-round score of 75-78-78-231 (+21). She added four birdies and 29 pars to her scorecard to end the event tied for 56th place.

"Disappointed we didn't bring our best today," said head coach Rhyll Brinsmead. "Clearly from the overall scores it can be seen how difficult the course setup played, but we needed to put together a better round than we did today."
