Gophers Finish The Show in Ninth

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The University of Minnesota women's golf team played the final 18-holes of The Show at Spanish Trail today.
As a team, Minnesota finished ninth in the tournament. The Gophers ended the final 18 with a 305 (+17). They leave Las Vegas with a three-round score of 299-293-305-897 (+33).
No. 3 UCLA and No. 29 SMU finished as co-champions after posting a six-under-par tournament score of 858.
Notable:
Graduate Emma Carpenter led the Maroon & Gold to finish tied for 27th place. She added two birdies and 12 pars in round three to finish with a three-round score of 76-72-75-223 (+7).
Senior Hailey Loh posted a third round score of 77 (+5). She ends the tournament tied for 31st place with a three-round score of eight-over-par (74-73-77-224).
Sophomore Isabella McCauley finished round three with a three-over-par 75 after posting 10 pars and three birdies. She completed the tournament tied for 44th place with a three-round score of 78-74-75-227 (+11).
Graduate Grace Curran finished in a tie for 49th place with a three-round score of 76-74-78-228 (+12). She added 11 pars and one birdie in round three.
Freshman Sara Tomaszewski logged two birdies on the course in round three. She completed the tournament tied for 57th place with a three-round score of 73-78-80-231 (+15).
Competing as an individual, Graduate Megan Furtney finished day one with a three-round score of 75-74-76-225 (+9). In round three, she tallied two birdies and 10 pars.
