The Gophers lost game two in Bloomington
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The University of Minnesota softball team fell to Indiana, 15-2, on Saturday afternoon at Andy Mohr Field.
Freshman Macy Richardson (3-3) got the ball to start for Minnesota (27-17, 7-4 B1G) and took the loss.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Indiana took an early lead right away and held onto it. The Golden were trailing 15-0 in the fifth inning when they first put runs on the board. Minnesota managed to push across two runs in the inning. The ballgame ended with that fifth inning rally falling short.
