COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The University of Minnesota women's golf team finished the Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational in seventh place with a score of 37-over par (309-295-297-901).
Sophomore Isabella McCauley led the Maroon and Gold to finish top-20 in Columbus, Ohio.
The Ohio State University was crowned tournament champion at seven-under par (291-283-283-857). Ohio State's Caley McGinty nabbed the top individual spot at six-under par.
Notable:
McCauley finished the tournament with six birdies and 37 pars. She finished the tournament tied for 14th with a score of seven-over-par (76-71-76-223).
Graduate Grace Curran carded four birdies and 39 pars through the 54-hole tournament. Curran finished tied for 23rd place with a score of nine-over-par (77-75-73-225).
Graduate Megan Furtney finished tied for 47th place with a score of 16-over-par (79-76-77-232). She added three birdies and 33 pars to her scorecard during the event.
Graduate Emma Carpenter ended the tournament one shot behind Furtney at 17-over-par (81-73-79-233), tied for 50th place.
Making her spring debut, sophomore Ruby Chi finished tied for 55th place with a score of 18-over-par (77-79-78-234).
Senior Hailey Loh carded four birdies and 11 pars in round three to notch a 71 (-1). After her round one score was disqualified, she finished the event in 74th place.
