McCauley Finishes Day One of NCAA Championship

CARLSBAD, Calif. -- University of Minnesota sophomore Isabella McCauley (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) finished round one of the NCAA Championship today. The sophomore carded a two-over-par (74) on day one of the competition.
McCauley tallied three birdies and three pars on the front nine. She played a steady back nine, carding seven pars. The Minnesota native sits tied for 75th headed into day two of play.
"Today was a really solid round for Bella," said head coach Rhyll Brinsmead. "She let a couple go late that I know she'd love back, but as always she represented UMN very well."
Lottie Woad (Florida State) leads the tournament individually after shooting a seven-under-par (65). Clemson holds the top team spot with an eight-under-par (280).

Round two of the NCAA National Championship will begin tomorrow, Saturday, May 18. McCauley will tee off at 10:52 a.m. CT.
