McCauley Set for NCAA Regionals

MINNEAPOLIS -- Sophomore Isabella McCauley (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) is set to represent the University of Minnesota women's golf team in NCAA postseason competition for the second time in her Gopher career. McCauley will play as an individual in the Auburn Regional in Auburn, Ala.
The three-day tournament will begin Monday, May 6, with McCauley teeing off at 9:50 a.m. CT and conclude on May 8.
"It's always exciting playing golf in May," said head coach Rhyll Brinsmead. "Super proud of Bella to be representing the 'U' in back-to-back years at NCAAs."

The Competition:
McCauley will be joining athletes from 16 different universities in Alabama. There are 12 teams and five other individuals competing at the regional.
The Course:
The 54-hole event will be played at the Auburn University Club in Auburn, Ala. The par-72 course plays 6,456 yards.
Looking Ahead:
The top five teams and low individual not on an advancing team from each regional will advance to the NCAA championship. The national championship is set to be played May 17-22 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
