Gophers Look Ahead to Big Ten Tournament

Minnesota has picked up the No. 5 seed

MINNEAPOLIS - Following its final weekend against Nebraska, the University of Minnesota softball team heads to Iowa City, Iowa, to compete at the 2024 Big Ten Softball Tournament from May 8-11. Finishing the regular season with a 27-24 (13-10 B1G) record, the Golden Gophers have picked up the No. 5 seed and will begin their postseason on Wednesday.

The Maroon and Gold will face No. 12 seed Illinois, the winner of Wednesday's game will face Nebraska in the quarter finals on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. CT.
