2024 Golden Gopher Hockey NHL Entry Draft Guide

MINNEAPOLIS - The 2024 Upper Deck National Hockey League Entry Draft begins Friday night with the first of seven rounds live from Sphere in Las Vegas, Nev. The University of Minnesota has had at least one player drafted in 49 of the last 50 drafts dating back to 1974, while the 2024 class looks to join the list of 239 previously selected Golden Gophers, the most by any NCAA hockey team.
This year's draft starts with the first round Friday, June 28 at 6 p.m. (CT) live on ESPN and ESPN+. The final six rounds are slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. (CT) on Saturday, June 29 and can be watched on NHL Network and ESPN+.
The 2024 draft will be the first live televised event held at Sphere, and it will also mark the first time that an event happening inside the venue will be incorporated into the Exosphere displays in real time, which has the largest LED screen on Earth.
