No. 24 Gophers Settle for Split on Day One of The Dual Meet Tournament

10/17/2025 5:38:00 PM | Men's Swimming & Diving, Women's Swimming & Diving

ATLANTA, GA. - The University of Minnesota swimming and diving programs kicked off the action at The Dual Meet Tournament this morning, settling for the split after falling to No. 20 Auburn 351-358 before bouncing back to take down George Washington University 581-208.

"We did a nice job today. It was tough dropping that first meet by only seven points, but we came back this afternoon and performed great. Looking forward to being in the competition pool on the swimming side tomorrow. This meet is a great opportunity for our divers and swimmers to experience the pool where NCAAs will be held in March!" - Director of Swimming and Diving, Kelly Kremer.
