Maroon & Gold Men’s Squads Ready to Host Big Ten Championships

MINNEAPOLIS - The Gophers men's swimming and diving team is set to compete in the Big Ten Championships, hosted in its home pools, on Feb. 26-March 1.
Competition at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center will begin at 5 p.m. CT on Wednesday Feb. 26. On Thursday, through Saturday, the day will begin with swimming prelims at 10 a.m. CT followed by diving trials at 12 p.m. CT. Diving consolation finals will then begin at 5 p.m CT, followed by the rest of finals at 5:30 p.m. CT.
The Minnesota men's program is 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the Big Ten this season. The team is also 5-0 at home this season. Their last victory came on Feb. 1 during the Minnesota Triple Dual against Northwestern and Purdue.
