Gophers 2025 Signees Excel at State Championships

All five signees will be on campus to train this summer
MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota gymnastics signees Lacie Saltzmann, Arianna Ostrum, Christiane Popovich, Isabella Nguyen and Lilly Gullickson had successful performances at their respective state meets this past weekend.
At the Texas State Championships, Saltzman took first place in the all-around (38.950), uneven bars (9.800), balance beam (9.740) and floor (9.775).
Ostrum, who competed at the Wisconsin state meet, placed first in the all-around (38.150), vault (9.450), uneven bars (9.800) and floor (9.675). She also placed second on beam with a score of 9.225.
Christiana Popovich took first place on bars (9.450) at the Iowa state championships while Lilly Gullickson placed eighth in the all-around (37.200) and third on beam (9.400) at the North Carolina state meet.
Isabella Nguyen, the younger sister of current Gopher Isabella Nguyen, placed first in the all-around (37.725), vault (9.600) and bars (9.400) at the Minnesota state meet. She took second on beam (9.450) and third on the floor (9.275).
