‘U’ Heads to Johns Island for Briar's Creek Invitational

MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Minnesota women's golf team is headed to Johns Island, S.C., to compete in the Briars Creek Invitational. The event will be held at Briar's Creek Golf Course from March 10-11.
The 17-team field will play two rounds on Monday, March 10, and 18 holes on Tuesday, March 11. Live-scoring and tee-times can be found at https://z.umn.edu/a9t8.
Lineup:
Minnesota's team lineup will consist of Mariana Mesones, Isabella McCauley, Reese McCauley, Ruby Chi, and Sara Tomaszewski. Madison Le and Jordana Windhorst-Knudsen will compete as individuals for the Golden Gophers.
The Field:
The Maroon and Gold will be joined by Campbell, College of Charleston (host), East Carolina, Florida State, Furman, Iowa, Kent State, Maryland, Miami, North Carolina, Old Dominion, Penn State, Purdue, Rutgers, Southern Methodist, and Tulsa.
The Course:
The event will be played at Briar's Creek Golf Course, which plays as a par 72 and is 6,152 yards.
Looking Ahead:
After the Briar's Creek Invitational, Minnesota will compete in the Coach Mo Classic in St. Augustine, Fla., from March 31 to April 1 at the St. Johns Golf & Country Club.
