Perich, Smith and Taylor to Represent Gophers at Big Ten Football Media Days

MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Minnesota football team will be represented by defensive back Koi Perich, defensive lineman Anthony Smith and running back Darius Taylor at the annual Big Ten Football Media Days next month in Las Vegas.Â
The three-day event will take place July 22-24 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, and the Gophers – along with head coach P.J. Fleck and quarterback Drake Lindsey – will meet with the media on July 23.
Big Ten Football Media Days is the unofficial start of the season and provides an opportunity for media members to meet with coaches and student-athletes prior to the start of the season.Â
Minnesota opens the 2025 season Aug. 28 when it plays host to Buffalo. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Huntington Bank Stadium with television coverage on FS1. Season tickets are on sale now for Golden Gopher football.Â
