2025 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Made his first career start against Buffalo and completed 19 passes for 290 yards and two touchdowns • completed 8-of-9 passes for 139 yards and one touchdown against Northwestern State • threw for 205 yards and one touchdown on 19 completions at Cal • completed 31 passes (tied for fifth most in school history) for 324 yards and three touchdowns against Rutgers • completed 15 passes for 94 yards at Ohio State • completed 21 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns against Purdue. 

2024: Redshirted • played in three games • completed 4-of-5 pass attempts for 50 yards and one touchdown. Game-by-Game: Completed 3-of-4 passes for 35 yards against Rhode Island threw his first career touchdown – eight yards to Tyler Williams – as a Gopher • competed against Nevada • completed only pass attempt against Virginia Tech for 15 yards. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Fayetteville High School in Fayetteville, Ark. • wore No. 5 for the Bulldogs and was coached by Casey Dick • as a senior, helped lead team to a 13-0 record and a state championship in which he was named MVP • threw for 3,941 yards in his senior season while completing 69 percent of his passes (264-for-383) • tossed 54 touchdown passes against just three interceptions for a TD:INT ratio of 18-to-1 • had six games with at least 300 yards passing this past season, including a season-high 535 against Rogers • threw at least two touchdown passes in every contest of his senior season, with six games of five or more, including seven versus Har-Ber • named the 7A Offensive Player of the Year in Arkansas, Gatorade Player of the Year in Arkansas and was recognized as a First-Team All-State honoree • consensus three-star prospect • listed as the No. 5 recruit in Arkansas and the No. 23 quarterback in the nation by 247Sports.
