Ante Named to 2026 Big Ten Players to Watch List

MINNEAPOLIS - University of Minnesota junior Jeselle Ante (Riverside, Calif.) has been named to the 2026 Big Ten Women's Tennis Players to Watch List, the Big Ten Conference announced today.
Ante enters her second season with the Golden Gophers after transferring from Wyoming as a freshman. In the fall 2026 season, she posted a team-high 9-4 record in singles play and a 5-5 mark in doubles. She reached the semifinals of the Milwaukee Tennis Classic and went 3-0 at the Cyclone Invite. Ante has 40 career singles victories and holds an International Tennis Federation (ITF) singles rating of 17.27.
Minnesota opens the 2026 spring season Jan. 23, hosting a doubleheader against Iowa State and North Dakota at the Baseline Tennis Center.
