Golden Gophers Set for Big Ten Conference Championships

GLENDALE, Calif. – The University of Minnesota is set to compete at the 2026 Big Ten Conference Women's Golf Championships. The 43rd Championships will take place at the Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, Calif., April 24-26.
The Maroon and Gold will be joined by the seventeen other B1G programs for the three-day competition. The event will consist of 54 holes of stroke play; 18 holes per day. Play for round one and two will begin with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. CT on Friday and Saturday. The third and final round is slated to begin at 10:00 a.m. CT Sunday. Lineup:
The Gophers lineup will include senior Isabella McCauley, junior Luisamariana Mesones, sophomore Reese McCauley, senior Olivia Deakins, and senior Madison Le. Freshman Lauryn Finley will serve as the substitute.
The Field:
Minnesota will tee off against No. 5 Oregon, No. 7 USC, No. 10 Northwestern, No. 14 Ohio State, No. 24 Michigan State, No. 27 UCLA, No. 41 Purdue, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers, Washington, and Wisconsin.

The Oakmont Country Club Course plays at par-70. The tournament will feature a 6,078-yard course on Friday, followed by 6,134 on Saturday and 6,107 yards on Sunday. This marks the first year that Oakmont Country Club will be hosting the B1G Championships.
