Minnesota to Compete at Night Session at Nationals, Start on Beam

The NCAA Semifinals will take place on Thursday, April 16 at 8 p.m. on ESPN2

FORT WORTH, Texas -- The No. 13 Minnesota gymnastics team will compete in the night session of the 2026 NCAA Gymnastics Championships at Dickies Arena on Thursday, April 16. 

They'll compete against No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 4 UCLA and No. 9 Arkansas in a meet beginning at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN2.

The Golden Gophers will start out on balance beam while Oklahoma will start on vault, UCLA on bars and Arkansas on the floor.

In the afternoon session at 3:30 p.m. CT, No. 2 LSU, No. 3 Florida, No. 6 Georgia and No. 7 Stanford will compete.

The top two scores from each session will square off in the finals on Saturday, April 18 at 3 p.m. ABC will televise the finals.

Minnesota (25-8, 7-2 B1G) will be making its third NCAA Championships appearance since 2021 and seventh all-time.

The Golden Gophers upset No. 5 Alabama and No. 12 Utah on Sunday night in Corvallis, Ore., to make the final.
