McCauley and Mesones Complete Round One of NCAA Ann Arbor Regional

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Minnesota's Isabella McCauley and Luisamariana Mesones closed out round one of the 2026 NCAA Women's Golf Ann Arbor Regional Monday.
McCauley paced the Maroon and Gold pair with a 3-over-par finish of 74, highlighted by two birdies to end the first day in 33rd place.
Mesones is one shot behind her teammate after carding a 75 (+4) through 18 holes. The junior sits in 42nd place after meeting par 11 times during the opening round.
No. 29 Ohio State and No. 32 Northwestern are tied for first among the 12 teams with 5-under-par scores after the first day of competition. Elise Lee of USC and Northwestern's Ashley Yun are tied for first place on the individual leaderboard, both finishing with a score of 66 (-5).
Looking Ahead:
The second round of the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional will take place on May 12. It is scheduled to begin with a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. CT with live results available via Scoreboard by Clippd.
