Gophers End Day Two of NCAA Ann Arbor Regional Tuesday

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Minnesota's Isabella McCauley and Luisamariana Mesones each tallied rounds under par Tuesday during the second round of the 2026 NCAA Women's Golf Ann Arbor Regional.
McCauley turned in a 4-under-par round of 67 during round two of the competition, the best score of the day among the 67 golfers. The Inver Grove Heights, Minn., native surged 27 places up the leaderboard to end the day tied for sixth place. The senior picked up five birdies in Tuesday's 18 holes.
Mesones also fired an under-par round representing the Golden Gophers, posting a 69 (-2) through 18 holes. She tallied five birdies in the second round to move up to 18th place overall.
A total of eight golfers went under par Tuesday, including both players from Minnesota.
No. 29 Ohio State remains in first place among the 12 teams with a 1-over-par team score. Northwestern's Ashley Yun leads the individual leaderboard by four strokes following a 2-under-par 69 during round two.

The third and final round of the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional will take place on May 13. The Gophers are scheduled to begin at 8:50 a.m. CT with live results available via Scoreboard by Clippd.
